How I Spend My Days

Lately, I have been working from my little home office and keeping up the house. Most recently I have started babysitting a little boy twice a week. He is so cute, he looks like the little boy in jungle book. He might be from the jungle, yesterday he was hanging on me like a little monkey and wouldn't let go. He thought it was hilarious. I have a hard time communicating with him because he is only one. Usually its with repeated "eh","eh?"or "EH!!" We were playing peekaboo and it was so funny. I was only able to get like 2 seconds before my camera died but its pretty cute!

WE LOVE ROCKS!

Whit and I took part in a short hike to see a very old boulder that had been carried to Oregon from British Columbia in a huge flood, 20,000 years ago. I was expecting to find a boulder grave yard of sorts. However we reached the top of the hill to find an slightly over sized rock. The story of this traveling rock(http://www.oregonstateparks.org/park_135.php,) is much more interesting than the rock in its current resting place.

Day Two with Jaimie-Boo!!!

What a Busy Day we Had!!

First we went to Newport, Oregon and ate lunch at this great diner!

OOO...Tasty!
Then we walked around and saw some fishing boats and met a great pirate!

This friendly pirate showed us his fishing vessel.

Over the bridge to the Pacific Aquarium we go.

Jaimie swam with the fish,

While this scary Japanese Spider Crab ate some squid.

Just keep swimming....

After the Aquarium we went to drove up the coast.

Oty loved riding around with us today! This tree had a ton of old buoys hanging from it.

Jaimie the artist became a glass blower today, and made a glass float! Enjoy watching the artist at work!
This guy got the melted glass out of this vat just like honey, with a honey comb! WOWFirst you spin the glass to get the shape you want. You have to keep spinning it so it doesn't fall off.

Then you spin heat it up again

Just keep spinning...

WOWZA...the guy helping us said this was like 2,500 degrees. Watch out!

Jaimie twisted the melted glass to make the color in glass swirly looking.

Now shape into the perfect ball, spin and shape at the same time!

Now we carefully take the glass off of the rod.All done!

Now its going to dry, and Jaimie will get it in about 2 weeks.

Dinner at Moe's(Jaimie only likes to take pictures of me eating. Why!?)

I want to make babies with this Peanut Butter PIE!!

I am so full, but the pie it just soooo good.

This stunning mermaid bid us farewell as we left for home.

Day One of Jaimies Visit!!!!

I think food does also, and for Jaimie nothing puts a smile on more than some red meat and lots of appetizers! haha. . I also was very happy. We ate like Kings(No queen would ever eat as much as we did!)

This picture is unflattering for multiple reasons: 1. Obvious reason, I am shoving a huge piece of food in my mouth. 2. My bad hair cut and lack of make-up make me look like I may be partial to women. 3. Its just awful!

Most of our entertainment today was found in shopping, going to the movies and COLORING BOOKS! Yes it was wonderful. Those bird things are salt & pepper shakers, and we found the coat in the next pic at this really cute boutique in Corvallis.

WHOO...

Ice cream is good for everything. Especially Tillamook!!

As you can see we are doing well. We are blessed with a great family and a beautiful place to live. We are having fun and keeping busy. Whit just got called as Sunday School President, so now he is debating if he should shave is beard. haha. .

Watermelon

The green tiger
With a ruby heart,
A light rain infused with sweet,
A summer suckling
At natures teat,
A smell as fresh as spring

I just wanted to let you all know that I am very deep and am taking poetry classes at the university. Megan and I wrote the piece of art above. Does it make you want Watermelon? Or more curious as to what Natures teat is? These are deep thought provoking questions.

So You had a Bad Day

Just like everyone experiences "changes" in their bodies at one point, Otis began to experience those same changes. Accompanying those changes was a new found bravery. Otis gave us a little scare with his new bravery by trying to beat up a German shepherd, Otis only ways 12 lbs. He was neutered the next day.
